Calm winds for most of the day that became light from the sw during late afternoon. Consistent snow accumulated 2.5" by the end of the day, new snow decreased in density as the temperatures dropped later in the day.
Snowpack
Height of snow averaged 24 inches on northerly-easterly aspects below treeline. One pit on a north aspect below treeline revealed a 4 finger slab approximately 28" thick, resting on top if 3-4mm depth hoar at the ground. Test results on this interface revealed ECTP11 and PST20/100 End. Shooting cracks and collapsing was observed any time you stepped off the skin track.
