Light snow moving in and out, gusty west winds.

Traveled below treeline only.4-8"HN. South slopes had pronounced 1cm thick mfc under new snow. Supported skis, easy to punch through with boot. Other skiers commented on traveling south east slopes: "loud rumbling collapses on this layer near treeline, that shook snow off trees". No avalanches observed.
