Snowpack
1cm melt-freeze crust on south aspects, almost entirely faceted beneath. Sun affected by afternoon. Strong NW/N winds stripped those aspects redistributed to SE/SE aspects--good skiing in sheltered spots. Divide wind-hammered and stripped.
Avalanche
One approx size 2 observed on Current Headwall. Poor image attached. Looked to run on ground, crown halfway down headwall, approx 40m across. Looked sharp/new. No tracks above/below that I could see.
