Longs Peak Trail, E Aspect, 10700'. HS: 90cm to 125cm, HN: 15-20cm. Ski penetraition 15-50cm. Localized cracking and whumpfing. CT Easy to Moderate Sudden Planar on thin 20181219 weak layer (FC surrounding MFcr) down approx. 50cm from snow surface. Also saw sudden planar results in CT on 20181124 layer (FC 2-2.5mm) down approx. 70cm from snow surface. Cracking and whumpfing attributed to 20181219 layer.
