Weather

Clear day with gusty W'rly winds at ridge top. Light to moderate winds at obx site, with occasional gusts and light snow transport.

Snowpack

A 20-25cm 4F-1F slab sits on top of alternating MFcr/FCxr layers on top of basal facets. Basal facet layers generally hard (1F). ECTP result at 13cm from ground on top of DH layer. HS varied from 50cm to 100cm in most areas. HS in the Spider Slide was 30cm or less.

Avalanche

A few small loose avalanches on an easterly aspect on the other side of the interstate. R1D0.5
