Weather

Light winds even above tree line in the afternoon. Partly cloudy and cooler temps.

Snowpack

3 inches of new snow. Near tree line there was some isolated cracking out around 10ft with some small whoomphs. Two days ago, the same areas did not produce similar cracking/collapsing.

Avalanche

I intentionally skier triggered a D1 wind slab/cornice on an ENE wind lip ATL. It was somewhat stubborn to go.
