Weather

Beautiful blue sky day with warm temps and very little breeze.

Snowpack

Below treeline snowpack remains thin on most aspects but ranges from 50-80cm on protected northerly terrain. Weak structure all-around except for areas of deeper drifted snow. Near and above treeline snowpacks were only viewed from a distance, but evident signs of recent wind-loading was apparent on N-E aspects. Large rounded-drifts were and small cornices were observed on most lee-ward ridges and cross-loaded gullies.

Avalanche

Observed a large natural avalanche below a NE facing wind-loaded ridge.
