Weather

Overcast,, though clouds thin at times. Winds picked up early afternoon; sustained 10-20 mph near ridge but only mixed down to lower elevations occasionally. Poor vis; no clear views of surrounding peaks. Cold. S-1 flurries with 2 cm additional accumulation at road by late afternoon.

Snowpack

Not as reactive or talkative as Monday. But Persistent Slab avalanche structure remains intact: supportable mid-pack slab above softer DH.

Avalanche

No new slabs visible. Several small dry loose avalanches in steep terrain, but didn't run far or entrain snow.
