Weather
The wind remained light through the day and shifted from southeast to northwest around 0930. Few clouds to start the morning increased to scattered by the mid-afternoon. The temperature was warm around 45F and the mid-May sunshine felt intense.
Avalanche
One older slab avalache on the south-facing slopes of Peak 13001 above Lost Man Lake looks to have been triggered by a loose avalanche. The activity under the large cornices on Geissler was fairly insignificant and small loose wet avalanches. The east and northeast-facing cornices loom large. Mitigation results from earlier in the week were mainly confined to cornice and large chunks of cornice entraining snow in the paths.
