45F Mostly sunny but more clouds developing and moving in from the W. Spring Creek pass area along the CDT ascending Baldy Cinco mesa on A NW aspect @ about 11250"

12:00 pm NW aspect on 11250" on what seemed to be supportable snow with ankle deep boot penetration. Area snow depth was averaging 150 cm with the first 30 cm firm but wet with several soft saturated layers to the ground. The collapse happened as I was taking said observations.
