From the TH to about 8500 ft the temp was very warm with light cloud cover. Temps began cooling @ 8500 with increasing cloud cover and wind as strom approached. 11:00am - 9950 ft, Wind: SE @ 10-15G20, Precip: S-1, Sky: Broken to Overcast, Temp: mid-20s F
Snowpack
Earlier in the day (around 0900) the snow was crusty but softening with exposure @ Elv < 8500 ft. Above 8500 ft, snow was generally frozen. Around 1100, a piece of storm energy rolled in freezing the snow surface down to around 8000 ft with slightly softer snow below. On NW slope @ 9500 ft - Snowpack depth of 102 CM, Wind loading present, P+ layer @ 87 cm with mix of weaker layers below and above. CT21Q2 @ 30cm.
