Clear sky's gave us the opportunity to see an avalanche cycle that we suspect occurred during the last part of the storm. Widespread avalanche activity on all aspects and elevations had released on the persistent weak layer from Mid December. We stuck to low angle slopes and stayed away from terrain traps including steep banks and gully features.
