Weather

Partly Cloudy and temps in the mid teens. Strong winds even in the canyon bottom, with very strong ridge top gusts that blew me over a few times. Lots of snow moving around. Wind was from the NW.

Snowpack

Found 6-8 inches of new cold snow from overnight that was easily cracking on kick turns. Wind slabs were building on the ridge top quickly, and showed signs of being touchy. Stayed under 30 degrees but had shooting cracks consistently throughout the tour. Snowpack was 190-205cm consistently around 9800 on E aspect.
