Weather
Clear and chilly at the start. Temperatures warmed into the low 20s under sunny skies and light winds by midday.
Snowpack
Evidence of recent wind loading above treeline. Sufaces dry, soft and yet to feel the influence of solar input. Dug on east and southeast slopes. On southeast, CT12 at the old/new interface with minor hand hardness differnce at this interface. Upper (latest storm snow) slab was soft (fist to 4 finger). This storm began with warm temperatures and bonded well to the old snow surface. A more easterly-facing slope produced ECTX test results where we observed a failure at this interface with no propagation.
