Weather

Light AM winds, increasing to moderate/strong gusts in the afternoon. Sunny with high clouds through the day.

Snowpack

Widespread AM surface hoar, 12+mm in areas. Wind destroying SH in exposed areas by afternoon. ECTN27 down 40cm on SE aspect below treeline, HS200. Failure crossed whole block when pried on from the back.

Avalanche

Loose dry avalanche on east face of Ears below treeline, slide is visible from hwy14. Likely late last evening or early this morning.
