Interesting isolated slab release (remote) on an east aspect just below the summit ridge of Mt Habel. A group skied the slope earlier that morning and must have set it off. We didn't dig a pit but noted 30cm storm snow on a very icy (suncrust) slab, 35º east aspect. A 100m further down the slope at about 25º we measured 50cm storm snow on a suncrust but hand shears indicated a much better bond.
