Mix of sun and cloud, light winds. Treeline and below had 20-30cm fist snow overlaying skier compaction which gave great turns. In the alpine, snow was wind affected and cracking with no significant propogation. Avoided lee features. Found some sharks on the ridge (see tragic photo) but none further down. Two new size 1.5-2 avalanches seen from cornice failure on the headwall.
