Skied big steep mother. Windy and variable conditions on the ridge, everything from crust and ice to deep powder. North facing aspect had some wind effect however a belayed ski cut showed no signs of instability. Overall great ski quality with a confidence inspiring snowpack. To be expected, by 1200 even small solar slopes were showing the potential for wet loose avalanches.
