We were treated to sunlight and fresh cold snow. Ski tests on steep SE convexity produced dry loose point releases (sluffs) on anything steeper than 40 degrees. Soft slab likely to form with the winds and likely be reaching a point of heightened reactivity in the coming days, until the wind hammers it back into impenetrable hardslab. Winds were mainly light-moderate with minimal effect on the new snow until above 2400m (summit pitch) where consistent strong winds had created reactive soft slab in isolated pockets.
