Redding creek/grey creek pass

Warm at valley bottom cooling at higher elevations. End of day temp 5'C Very foggy at elevation 6000 to 7000 with light wind visibility very poor no skiing done due to all observations. Snow was unaffected at higher elevations SE facing slope. No digging of observation pit but lots of digging for buried sleds.

Definate avi cycle in play approx 24 to 48 hours old. Some going full valley bottom. Starting on rocky thin snow pack on multiple aspects through out the main Redding creek up to grey creek pass. Snow above 6500 to 7000 feet didn't seem as effected by warm temps seen at valley bottom. No skiing that day just sledding to explore and assess warming cycle.
