Wednesday felt like the perfect day to bag the middle sister. After viewing the fan and ramp of the middle sister, we became spooked. A solid size 2 avalanche lookers right was the bottom line for the decision to turn around. After proceeding further up the Proctor Meadow trees, numerous other evidence of avalanches were observed in and around the middle sister ramp, including what we coined 'the mega crown'. Winds were increasing throughout the day and the decision to go home for a hot chocolate was the right one.
