Solid Day at Pedley Pass. New storm snow is settling a bit and becoming firmer on the surface and just below. there's been a few new avalanches since last weekend, one of them running full path.

Nice temperatures today, but pretty windy up on the ridge loading snow on north-facing terrain. noticed wind loading while coming back up for another run.

Dug a quick pit to check the conditions. it was dug on a wind drift just off the ridge. Results: HS: 145cm CT22 SP Down 20cm windslab CT24 SP down 50cm Stuck to familiar terrain and more open trees with anchors.

A size 3.5 avalanche in the main bowl ran full path we think yesterday. Probably natural don't know for sure. it broke on what looks like the feb 3rd crust/facet layer and then stepped down to the ground.
