Telkwa

Rode into the Houston Telkwas to disassemble the weather station for the season and found widespread hard, supportive snow surfaces. Either very little sled penetration into a skiff of windblown snow, or just crust. Digging into the firm snowpack was hard work! Graupel (Styrofoam-like) snow began to fall lightly when we left early in the afternoon.
