Climbed 3 sisters from canyon trails via proctor meadows and the couloir. Amazing powder lots of places, thigh deep in the couloir. Wind and sun exposed aspects and starting to become affected however with the cold nights near surface faceting is happening decomposing the recent super thin wind slab. The rippled powder is often best skiing on alpine features. Large natural avalanches May occur if day time warming and solar radiation reach critical values, ecpcially near rocks. We experienced temps higher than forecast, water was running down the rocks but snow was not pin wheeling yet. Descent down upper fairy creek waterfall at night with no rope is not recommended due to large sections of exposed rock.
