Left the car at 0920 -20C climbed into Jimmy Jr. bowl and temps rose as we climbed. First run from near the base of the cliffs at 1050, second run around 1140. Recorded air and snow temp around -4C. Remote triggered a size two slab when our party of two rejoined at the top of the run. Ran across four of our switchbacks.

Weather

Inversion with solar heating during the morning. Temps were rising and likely didn't get very low overnight at that location.

Avalanche

Start zone was right against the cliffs and was affected by debris falling often. Likely increased the density to form a stiff slab there. It is sun affected and may have had a surface hoar layer from before the storm. We did not inspect the bed surface instead choose to get off the slope asap.
