Great Up High Still Thin Down Low

Toured up bruins ridge to 8812 bowl. 40-50cm of light unconsolidated snow over lies the Nov 13 crust.. moist snow below. Surprisingly little windslab in new snow, just great skiing. Right to the valley bottom, where it turns into survival skiing. Well worth the hike.
