Weather

Cold in am (3F at car at 0900), Warm in pm (33F at car at 1300). Clear, light wind gusts NTL & ATL, strong solar radiation, Air T of -9C at 11,800'.

Snowpack

Mostly right side up structure with some instabilities in the upper part of the pack found, depending on aspect.

Avalanche

See picture below regarding Chattanooga Corner Chutes. Not much other activity found when looking around the range considering the CAIC report. Lots of explosive related small shallow D1 slides seen on Cemetery side of road, and the S facing paths above C Corner area, but w/o major propagation. Lots of dry and wet loose witnessed along the road corridor in extreme terrain.
