Weather
Light snow, S-1 developed in the late morning. Less than 1" accumulation by 1400. Strong winds and moderate transport eased rapidly after snow began. A brief period of moderate wind loading in the late AM. Cool temps.
Snowpack
Snow signs of instability. No sluffing on steep N aspects below TL. Found a SH/MF crust combination on open E-SE aspect near and below TL. Did not observe widespread SH formation elsewhere.
Avalanche
Last observed/reported avalanche activity occurred around 1/27.
