Snowpack
Snow pack was very stable (north, northeast aspect). Dug a pit down low (10,200ft) with no signs of instability, but dug a subsequent pit 1000ft +/- higher on the same aspect and found a faceted layer approximately 18" below the surface. The layer was approximately an inch think and was primarily graupel from a previous storm. The stability changed significantly in those 1000' due to the graupel layer.
