Snowpack

Several days of very warm temperatures along with an inch or two of rain have eliminated most of the snowcover in Glenwood Canyon. What remains is well-consolidated melt forms. Drainage appears to have been established in this spring-like snowpack, and no avalanche activity of any kind was observed despite 18 hours of moderate rainfall. Powerhouse is holding close to two feet of snow in the startzone, and could theoretically still reach the road. When this path melts out more (perhaps as early as this week) we will be at None in Glenwood Canyon.
