Weather

12 degrees at around 7am warmed to 17. Light wind 10 to 15 from the west.

Snowpack

Top 4 to 6 was new. There is an ugly crust on the east facing slopes about 4" down. It was adhering ok but if you were on slopes greater than 40 degrees if there would be significant wind loading it would slide.
