Snowpack
Less snow fell on the south side of RMP than the north in recent storms, though added up to ~8"-15" of settled snow. New snow is sitting on crust/facet layers on sunny slopes. This interface is weakest on east aspects. Recent snow fell on NSFs on shady slopes. Overall, we have and increasingly deep and variable snowpack. Last several storms have added volume without adding strength. Quite variable depending on aspect and elevation, with most recent loading from persistent NW winds on high south and east facing terrain. Lots of cross loading and drifting.
