light winds, sun trying to peek through by midday. snowing well from Indian Peaks down into in boulder, S2-3. low-density snow with big flakes...

low-density snow, couple inches over night, another couple by 1pm today....tailing off towards 1230...not sure if it ramped back up.... up high stout sun-hardened wind slab, so it was kinda dust-on-crust....below treeline that wind slab had already started to facet out, so good ski pen below new snow. new snow is poorly bonded to old surface, so sloughing on steeper slopes. hadn't really started cooling off just yet, but we were gone before 1
