Dug a pit at TL on east aspect and it was a very strong, non-colorado pit. 15-20 cm of facets (4f to 1f) at ground and then 120cm of 1f slab, then 50cm of 4f on top. I could get no shear planes/failures on 3 different tests. It would break in facets if I cut that deep, but no surprise there. Below where I dug had slid in pre-christmas storm, but not where I dug. A friend dug a pit in Sam’s yesterday, same aspect and had very similar results, except slab was not quite as dense. I think our weight and depth are starting to work for the good on some aspects. More exploring needed to see if that’s the case elsewhere.
