Clear to scattered skies. Moderate to strong NW winds all day. Mild temps.

Snowpack

Snowpack on all below treeline slopes in this valley has weakened significantly in the last month from colder temps and less precip. Facets and depth hoar now make up much of the lower 30-40 cm. Many areas, snowpack unsupportive, with ski pen's exceeding 60 cm. Strong westerly winds have transported lots of snow onto lee aspects last two days. Cycle of naturals in isolated areas last 24 hours.
