Weather

warm, windy, thin high clouds. some snow transport, even though we were trying to figure out from where there was snow left to transport.

Snowpack

continental, unfortunately. extremely variable. near tl some n facing had thick strong right side up snowpack, other n facing thin and completely faceted. under daly on ese facing hs was 120cm. buried sh down 30cm produced q1 sp shears, buried fc down 60cm produced q2 rp shears. buried sh was absolutely the layer of concern on seemingly all aspects near tl.

Avalanche

multiple soft slab or wet slab naturals r1 or r2, d2. even below tl on nnw facing were a few wet slabs and loose wet. one wet slab of note was low on e face of daly, near tl, natural, r2 d2. ran on buried sh down 30cm.
