Snowpack
Snowpack is showing signs of strengthening, however, persistent weak layers remain, particularly at the bottom of the snowpack. The height of the snowpack varies wildly across the area because of the wind. In gullies and in the lee of ridges the snowpack is deep enough that a rider can not effect it, but there are many areas where the snowpack is more shallow and weak layers are buried closer to the surface.
