Snowpack

Regarding our SH distribution I'd consider it widespread. I've seen it as far north as slater park which is north west of sand Mtn near hahns peak village north of steamboat. Some as large as 6-10 cm. That was last Thursday, one week ago. W>N>E aspects. Yesterday and today I've seen well preserved 1-3cm BSH in and near the ski area on NW>N>NE slopes. It is reactive and the storm snow which is fist hard is showing slab characteristics although quite soft. Approx 16-18 inches snow above BSH. I've triggered small pockets on convexities and slopes over 30deg near the ski area. I did see it on the SE>S aspects near area last week as well.
