Overcast, temps in the high 20s, light winds. HS; 75" Cumbres Pass, 66" La Manga Pass, 94" at Cumbres Trestle

Snowpack

Snowpack is solid and supportable. Found a buried surface hoar layer 120cm below the surface (NE below TL), but no CT or ECT failures on this layer.

Avalanche

No recent avalanche activity along the highway corridor. Observed very isolated recent D2 activity (probably 5 days old) in the surrounding backcountry.
