Snowpack

Snow depth-74cm Boot penetration-30-40cm Surface-wind packed Snowpit-We noticed a week layer of rounded grains (2-3cm thick) about 20cm below the surface and faceted crystals layer at ground level. The top week layer may not be a problem at this time but with more snow in the forecast or wind load accumulation could become a concern.
