Snowpack
Firm conditions were felt on all slopes and aspects traveled today. On north facing slopes above treeline the surface snow has stiffened and ski conditions were "Pizza Boxy". In the morning a firm refrozen snow surface persisted on most slopes. On south slopes above treeline the crust was breakable enough to set a shallow skin track. By 2 pm very few slopes show signs of warming. Generally safe avalanche conditions were observed.
