Cold temps, partly cloudy with around 15’’ of new snow.

Toured up into Baxter Basin area on Sunday stuck to SW, S, and SE aspects. Observed wide spread avalanching on N, NE, E faces. The storm snow seemed to bonding well to underlying sun crusts on S and SE aspects. Experienced multiple collapses in flat terrain and observed some cracking. Dug pit in wind loaded roll due to the general lack of snow. The pit was roughly 100cms deep and had ECT score of 22 with poor quality that broke in the lower portion of the new snow. Rode slopes up to 35 degrees with no movement and would have been great if there had been better coverage.
