Weather: Warm and sunny with a little down valley afternoon breeze.

SNOWPACK OBS: At 10,200ft on a East aspect we dug multiple pits and performed 4 CT tests with no result. The old wind effect and top 20cm's of snow were faceting out and F hard. The rest of the 120cm snowpack was between 1F and 4F+ with about 10cm's of 4F at the ground. The snowpack was mostly faceted with a temperature profile of 1.5 to 2*C per 20cm. Boot pen was about 40cm. The snow surface had a paper thin crust at the end of the day.
