Snowpack

Found ~10" settled storm snow, still soft pow on a buried and supportive crust. Major temp inversion, with temp at car at TH of -8F and 30F at treeline. Strong solar radiation and no wind was showing surface melting of snow on slopes 35* and steeper. Lower angled terrain (even solar aspects) were still holding dry surface snow as of 1430 due to low angle of incidence with the Dec sun. No instabilities noted besides the recent big slide in RL Bowl
