Weather

Mostly cloudy skies, mild temps, and light to moderate SWerly winds.

Snowpack

No signs of instability. Thin snowpack that remains in the TR portion of Alberta's Cousin after it slid big on 12/9/13 (E near TL), has evolved into a fragile structure with several weak layer/crust interfaces present. This may also be the case in other highway and backcountry areas that also slid big earlier this winter. Additional activity in these paths should be expected with significant loading when it arrives.

Avalanche

No observed recent avalanche activity. Last avalanche occurred 12/20/13.
