Weather

Temperature inversion formed overnight. Mostly clear skies with calm winds during the day. 23F at trail head at 2pm.

Snowpack

Upper snowpack is consolidating. Evidence of wind action at all elevations. Profile showed a soft slab over a variety of weak snow. Two predominate weak layers capable of producing avalanches. The upper layer (1 mm facets about 55 cm below the surface) was the most reactive (see video).
