Weather
Strong gusty winds (20-30mph gusts 40mph) were transporting a light amount of snow. Many of the fetches were already bare. Overcast 8/8.
Snowpack
The snowpack in out bladed pit area was low density with a thick layer of depth hoar transitioning to facets 36cm deep. Probably belonging to pre Thanksgiving snow. A firmer 4F+ mudpack (X-mas snow) and layers in the upper snowpack from recent storm and wind deposit. Foot penetration was full depth.
