Light snowfall began overnight around 9 pm. Snowfall intensity is expected to pick up today through early afternoon. Snow showers will continue into the evening. Currently in Silverton: Snow S-1; HN24 - 2"; Winds - SW/5-10 gusty; Temp 24F. Current on Passes (@ 0300): Molas/Coal Bank 4"-5". Red Mtn Pass 2"-2.5". Snow decreases to north with only a Tr to 1/2" in the Gorge. Weather Stations (@ 0300): Except for Kendall, winds decreased past 2 hours and shifted from SW to SSE. From 20-25 (30's on Abram) down to teens. G30's-40's. PG at Eagle 57mph. RH range 91% to 93% (Eagle) Lower elev. Molas @ 95%. Temps - low teens (9F Kendall).
