Snowpack

This is an area of some old growth forest. Snowpack was so thin and downed trees, etc so thick, could not make it close enough to the alpine without considerable trouble to even make good observations. Only able to slowly travel (skiing and walking) through BTL W-N aspects. HS was 30-50 cm deep and entirely faceted. No avy danger , but considerable danger of hitting obstacles and ruining your skis.
