South Aspect: crust on surface on all south aspects steeper than 20 degrees, Average HS: 60cm mostly a combo of a few different crust facet combos. One quick test pit revealed clean shears 15 cm's down on top of sun crust: CTE 5, SP/Q1, failed on small facets on crust. Not a problem now bit could become more so with more snow. ECTX in the same profile. North Aspect: Evidence of previous wind loading from South. very variable depths ranging from 20 cm's to 100. Depth hoar on ground 2-3mm. SURFACE HOAR observed in a sheltered area in the trees below trees 2-5mm. CT's did not reveal any clean shears a couple Q2 or SC results up high and on basal facets.
